Joy Tetlock is Vice-President, Planning and Innovation with Northern Regional Health Authority. In her role, she coordinates regional planning, oversees risk management, patient safety, disaster management, and continuous quality improvement. Previous responsibilities in the area of patient safety and quality include critical occurrence investigations, quality improvement initiatives, risk assessments, prospective and retrospective analysis of client safety related issues, and staff education and support. Joy has worked in Northern Manitoba since 2000. Her professional background is human ecology and she has a Masters of Business Administration from Aspen University. Previous positions included Health Promotion Specialist, Support Services Supervisor, and the Liaison with Manitoba Health and Healthy Living to the northern regional health authority. Joy has taken courses in quality improvement, project management, risk management, and patient safety education. Joy was nominated by the Northern Regional Health Authority.
