Ron Van Dennaker is President and Chief Executive Officer of Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority. He was elected to the board in June 2017. In this role he is responsible for the overall organizational leadership for operations, marketing, strategy, finance, organizational culture, human resources, and community relations as well as advancing a culture of innovation and creativity to improve quality and safety of care. Prior to his appointment, Ron held senior management positions in both rural regional health authorities and Winnipeg Regional Health Authority for the last 20 of his 35 year career, including Allied Health and Technical Director, Diagnostic Imaging Program (Winnipeg Regional Health Authority), and Administrator, Children’s Hospital (Winnipeg). He has also worked as a Radiation Protection Officer and Medical Radiological Technologist at sites in Winnipeg. He has been a member of various committees and working groups including the board of trustees of Winnipeg River Community Adjustment Corporation and Regional Health Authorities of Manitoba. Ron was nominated by Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority.
